Stefan Wagner studierte in Wien Jazzgitarre u.a. bei Peter Legat und Karl Ratzer und ist seit den 1980er-Jahren als Gitarrist, Komponist und Bandleader aktiv. Mit seiner „Stefan Wagner Group“ nahm er 3 CDs mit ausschließlich eigenen Stücken auf („Listen Well“, „The Long Walk“ und „Heart Blues“) und gastierte in zahlreichen Clubs und auf Festivals in ganz Mitteleuropa. Darüber hinaus spielte er Auftritte u.a. mit T.C. Pfeiler, Hans Salomon und Melinda Stoika. Er ist Gründer, Bandleader, Gitarrist und Songwriter der Band „Soundstairs“.
Stefan Wagner studied jazz guitar in Vienna with Peter Legat and Karl Ratzer, among others, and has been active as a guitarist, composer, and bandleader since the 1980s. With his “Stefan Wagner Group,” he recorded three CDs featuring exclusively his own compositions (“Listen Well,” “The Long Walk,” and “Heart Blues”) and has performed at numerous clubs and festivals throughout Central Europe. He has also played with T.C. Pfeiler, Hans Salomon, Melinda Stoika, and others. He is the founder, bandleader, guitarist, and songwriter of “Soundstairs.”

Nicole Vallant kommt aus einem musikalischen Elternhaus und wirkte mit 17 an ihrer ersten Produktion
mit („Darkness goodbye“).
In den folgenden Jahren sang sie in diversen Coverbands und holte sich dort ihre Auftrittserfahrung und Bühnenpräsenz, mit der immer sie wieder aufs Neue besticht. Aktuell singt sie neben "Soundstairs" in der acoustic cover Formation "Joshua Treeo".
Nicole Vallant comes from a musical family and was involved in her first production at the age of 17
(“Darkness Goodbye”).
In the years that followed, she sang in various cover bands, where she gained her performance experience and stage presence, with which she continues to captivate audiences time and again. Currently, in addition to "Soundstairs," she performs in the acoustic cover formation "Joshua Treeo."
Gerhard Burda
Bass - Base
Gerhard Burda studierte Elektroakustische Komposition und Kontrabass und spielte live und im Studio u.a. mit Gandalf, Bluespump’n und der Jazz-Rock Formation „Open Art Band“. Er ist Leiter des „Electric Jazz Quartets“ und von „BaDMedia“, eines Projekts, das Drum & Bass mit visual arts kombiniert. In dessen Rahmen hat er u.a. mit Harri Stojka, Bubby Lewis und Manfred Balasch zusammengearbeitet.
Gerhard Burda studied electroacoustic composition and double bass and played and recorded with Gandalf, Bluespump'n, and the jazz-rock formation “Open Art Band,” among others. He is the director of the “Electric Jazz Quartet” and “BaDMedia,” a project that combines drum & bass with visual arts. In this context, he has collaborated with Harri Stojka, Bubby Lewis and Manfred Balasch.

Christian Skokan ist stilistisch vielfältiger Pianist, preisgekrönter Musikproduzent und Komponist, Arrangeuer, Pädagoge.
Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Orchestermusiker der Vereinigten Bühnen Wien arbeitet er für namhafte nationale und internationale Künstler (Nina Hagen, Reinhard Fendrich, Erika Pluhar, Peter Alexander, Roland Neuwirth, Christin Kolonovits, Saxon, Thomas Rabitsch, Flying Pickets, Robert Opratko, uvm.) Seine Tourneen führten ihn in viele Länder Europas und Asiens.
Christian Skokan is a stylistically diverse pianist, award-winning music producer and composer, arranger, educator.
In addition to his work as an orchestral musician at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, he works for well-known national and international artists (Nina Hagen, Reinhard Fendrich, Erika Pluhar, Peter Alexander, Roland Neuwirth, Christin Kolonovits, Saxon, Thomas Rabitsch, Flying Pickets, Robert Opratko, and many more.)
His tours have taken him to many countries in Europe and Asia.

Hans Nemetz spielte europaweit mit unzähligen Formationen, u.a. in den Niederlanden mit dem Perkussionisten Nippy Noya und der Manguera Samba Band; in Österreich häufig mit brasilianischen Musikern wie Dudu Trentin und Marcelo Onofri („Yes Brazil“) sowie Letieres Leite („Brazilian Love Affair“), weiters u.a. mit Harri Stojka, Edi Mayr, Roman Gregory und der Stefan Wagner Group; derzeit spielt er mit u.a. mit „Louie Austen's Wienergy" und "Soundstairs". Hans ist auch ein begnadeter Sänger und Multiinstrumentalist, im Mai 2022 hat er als Solokünstler den Song „Seashore
„(Dreamin‘ All About)“ veröffentlicht.
Hans Nemetz has played throughout Europe with countless formations, including in the Netherlands with percussionist Nippy Noya as well as the Manguera Samba Band, and in Austria frequently with Brazilian musicians such as Dudu Trentin and Marcelo Onofri ("Yes Brazil") and Letieres Leite ("Brazilian Love Affair"). He worked also with Harri Stojka, Edi Mayr, Roman Gregory and the Stefan Wagner Group; currently he plays with "Louie Austen's Wienergy" and "Soundstairs", among others. Hans is also a gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist, in May 2022 he released the song "Seashore (Dreamin' All About)" as a solo artist.
Karel Eriksson
Posaune - Trombone
Der schwedische Jazzposaunist und Komponist mit estnischen Wurzeln lebt seit vielen Jahren in Graz und Wien. Seine Ausbildung führte ihn von Stockholm über Prag bis zur Kunstuniversität Graz, wo er 2022 mit Auszeichnung abschloss. Wichtige künstlerische Impulse erhielt er u. a. von Dave Liebman, Jim McNeely und Nils Wogram. Karel ist Gründer der Band Sound Pollution Eclectic (S.P.E.), mit der er zwei Alben veröffentlichte, und leitet außerdem sein Karel Eriksson Trio. Als gefragter Sideman spielt er in zahlreichen Ensembles, darunter Jazz Big Band Graz, Emiliano Sampaio Big Band, Berndt Luef Jazztet, Karin Bachner Pocket Brass Band und Wednesday Night Prayer Orchestra. Er gastierte bei internationalen Festivals von Brasilien bis Spanien.
The Swedish jazz trombonist and composer with Estonian roots has lived in Graz and Vienna for many years. His education took him from Stockholm to Prague and then to the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, where he graduated with honors in 2022. He received important artistic inspiration from Dave Liebman, Jim McNeely, and Nils Wogram, among others. Karel is the founder of the band Sound Pollution Eclectic (S.P.E.), with which he has released two albums, and also leads his Karel Eriksson Trio. Johannes Probst studierte Trompete in Linz, Den Haag und Rotterdam u.a. bei Peter Tuscher und Ack Van Rooyen. Auftritte und Zusammenarbeit u.a. mit Doug Hammond, Dwight Adams, Barry Harris, Allan Praskin, Lee Konitz, Jimmy Halperin, Abraham Burton, Thomas Gansch, Martin Fuss, Matthias Pichler, Together, mit der Jazzmania Big Band und der Robert Bachner Big Band. Er fühlt sich im Bebop, im Swing und auch in funkigen Bläsersätzen wie bei „Soundstairs“ gleichermaßen zuhause.
